Extend a USB 3.0 cable 5m from a desktop, laptop, or remote terminal to a PTZ camera, an interactive display, hard drive, or other peripheral device with this USB 3.0 active extension cable. This cable supports all USB 3.0 functionality with data transfer rates up to 5Gbps and the use of USB bus power eliminates the need for external power adapters. This simple, one connection solution allows for quick, plug-and-play installation – encouraging productivity and simplifying device connectivity.

Speed for every need
Deliver data quicker with the ability to sync, download pictures, or upload new apps at maximum speed. Ensure the quickest upload of the newest season of your favorite TV show with data transfer rates up to 5Gbps, then disconnect and get on with your active day.

Precision delivery
This extension cable actively buffers the incoming and outgoing signals to ensure compliance with USB’s 3.0 specification for electrical and timing minimums. You can connect up to 2 active extension cables end-to-end to achieve up to 10 meters total extension! Both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 speed USB devices will function equally well with this extension.

Equipment Preserver
The dongle-style extender reduces strain on the USB-A port. Extending the equalization box 5m from the USB-A connection on a laptop or desktop prevents extra weight and strain from damaging the port. This design also allows the cord to be moved without damage to the source device.
