Cloudlifters are an essential tool for any audio scenario. Recording into a DAW interface, performing live on stage, producing a podcast, using long cable runs in the studio, miking soft sound sources and using noisy or low gain preamps are just a few of its many uses. Hear more of your dynamic & ribbon microphone\’s character and clarity with active ultra-clean gain. The Cloudlifter\’s patented discrete JFET circuitry preserves the source\’s natural sound while keeping the direct audio path clear of transformers, capacitors, and resistors. The Cloudlifter allows you to cut through the mix on stage with increased gain before feedback. Phantom Powered means itturns Phantom Power into gain and clarity without passing it through to your delicate ribbon mic. Cloudlifter CL-1 Provides up to +25dB of ultra-clean gain in two distinct stages and optimal impedance loading for dynamic and ribbon mics to perform their best. Simply connect your dynamic or ribbon mic to the input and connect a mixer or preamp to the output. The Cloudlifter does the rest. Cloudlifter CL-2 Provides two channels of up to +25dB of ultra-clean gain and optimal impedance loading for dynamic and ribbon mics to perform their best. Simply connect one or two dynamic or ribbon mics to the input and connect a mixer or preamp to the output. Great for two mono channels or a stereo configuration. Cloudlifter CL-X An expanded Cloudlifter featuring selectable gain modes with up to +12dB and +36dB and a custom Cinemag transformer. A custom designed nickel-core Cinamag transformer dynamically responds to signal adding harmonic content and saturation. The more signal you give it, the more character and \”mojo\” it will give back! Selectable Output Modes provides up to +36 dB of ultra-clean gain in MAX mode and up to +12 dB with the output attenuator engaged. Perfect for a variety of audio sources. Many preamps, mixers, and audio interfaces become noisy when turned up high. The Cloudlifter X increases your microphone\’s signal strength for more headroom and less noise. Cloudlifter CL-Z All of the ultra-clean gain of a Cloudlifter with the innovative \”Vari-Z\” knob to shape the sound of your mic. Variable impedance control – Vari-Z – to shape and contour the sound of your ribbon or dynamic microphone. Continuously variable high-pass filtering @ -6dB per octave works in tandem with the variable impedance control for even greater tonal shaping. Two gain settings – more & max – yield up to +25dB of ultra-clean gain for low output dynamic & ribbon microphones. Be heard above the mix on stage with increased gain before feedback. Cloudlifter CL-Zi Clean gain and Vari-Z knob for massive tone shaping in an active DI for bass, guitar, and keyboard players. Shape tone of your mic or instrument with the Vari-Z knob. In Mic Mode, the impedance values range from 150-15k Ohms. In DI Mode the range is roughly 100x, or about 15k-1.5Meg. Continuously variable high-pass filtering @ -6dB per octave works in tandem with the variable impedance control for even greater tonal shaping. Three settings yield up to +25dB of ultra-clean gain for XLR microphones and up to +15dB for 1/4\” inputs like bass, guitar and keyboards. Compatible with 1/4\” Hi-Z instrument inputs and XLR Lo-Z microphones via the Neutrik Combo Input Connector.
